"Offline" I enjoy Travelling, Hiking & camping, Rock climbing and Off-the-beaten-track Travel to remote parts of South Africa (no-internet!!). All of this is off-set by the hard work we do Online in Web Strategy Development & Design from our offices, located in Cape Town, South Africa.

I have been involved in the Online Industry for over 14 years. Obtained a diploma in Marketing and Advertising, before going into the Online Industry. My main passion lies in Solution Development for clients using popular open source systems, and seeing our clients businesses grow to success, as a result of the Websites which we develop.

I am also a co-organiser of the JoomlaDay Events in South Africa, over the last 3 years we have organised 10 events around the country.

Jacques Rentzke is the owner of New Web Consulting, which focuses on building and supporting web sites on the Joomla! CMS. He first got involved with Joomla! at the start of 2007 when a client required a Content Management System for their new web site. After some research, he decided on Joomla! and he's never looked back!

In 2010, Jacques was invited to join the board of directors of Open Source Matters (the organization that provides the legal and financial support for the international Joomla project), where he served as Secretary and Vice President, and is currently the lead of the Trademark Team.

Jacques is also co-organizer of the Joomla! User Group Cape Town (JUGCT) and the JoomlaDay Cape Town 2011, 2012 and 2013 events.

Ryan Ozimek is a member of the board of directors of Open Source Matters, the non-profit organization which supports the Joomla! project, and served as its President from 2010-2012.  Ryan is also the CEO and co-founder of PICnet, the company behind Soapbox Engage, an online engagement service that enables organizations to do online fundraising, event registrations, advocacy, and other engagement services.  Though Ryan is a resident of Washington DC, he's a California native always hungry for his next burrito.
